Description
Yellow Milkshake was created from the feeling of a beautiful non-physical being that takes the form of a glowing blue light sphere, with a yellow core filled with overflowing light energy. No one ever understood why this being chose dark blue for its outer color when the core is yellow, but so it is. I painted it surrounded by black to highlight its luminous energy, making it stand out more on the canvas, because that is what it is.
Like in the darkness, energy naturally attracts a lot of surrounding fluff, which is shown in purple, blue, and white around the light being to help everything work in harmony. This means that the being intentionally gathered this fluff to have fun with it, absorb it, and perhaps even cleanse it. That is why the bottom part of the painting looks as if it’s sorting and swirling energy—this is its work.
In the top left, there is a blue stream that carries information with which this being communicates to transfer and receive knowledge. On the top right, white, fluffy energy flows downward, accumulating at the bottom, creating more fluff.
This painting is mostly envisioned in 3D, but painted in 2D for greater pleasure, as I believe it’s the best way to express this concept. The piece is called “Yellow Milkshake” because it seemed amusing to me, and it fits perfectly—the fluff resembles a milkshake, and “Yellow” represents the hidden core of this being, which is quite intriguing.
