Description
At the beginning there was only darkness,
downy flakes fell from above into the pit of dreams,
toward a wide expression approached an opportunity
that had drawn close to fate.
A melody sounded, or was it a sound?
But that no longer mattered now.
In a judgment where opportunity had bound everything together.
There came yellow, blue, and white,
intertwined with a dark blue wall.
Somewhere here a theme appears, like chess—
in many layers of ties and experiences
it would radiate beauty too, if it existed.
A sound, as it is heard,
was meant to rise to the surface
from beneath hidden darkness and a storm,
lined with clouds,
to emerge from the shadows of twilight.
A sound in another part,
where everything is arranged as it should be—
or so they thought,
as it is said,
who would know how it is meant to be,
to hear and to dream.
And when you wake alone in the rain,
nothing will be as before.
To be here or not—
even that may pass.
